Messing tries to sprawl but Varrava drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Varrava tries to free his leg and advance position but Messing is retaining full guard.
Varrava trying to control the position from guard on top but Messing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Messing looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Varrava is defending well. Messing quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Varrava has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Messing celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
