Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Demidoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juoppo Apina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juoppo Apina acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Demidoff shoots in and bounces Apina off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Demidoff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Demidoff throws and elbow that misses. Apina uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Demidoff's guard. Nice move by Apina!

Apina thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Demidoff is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Demidoff wants to stand and escape but Apina is having none of it.

Apina drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Apina jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Demidoff is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Apina is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Apina postures up in Demidoff's guard and throws a big left but Demidoff blocks it.

Apina tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Apina has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Demidoff is working to avoid the ground and pound but Apina connects with a decent elbow.

Apina is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Demidoff is trying to escape and Apina transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Demidoff is forced to tap! Nice work there by Apina! Very nice indeed!
