Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ledfoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leopold Scotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ledfoot comes to the cage accompanied by What's Beef. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leopold Scotch!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledfoot misses with a body shot.
Ledfoot fails to land the takedown.
Scotch misses with a wild body shot.
Ledfoot throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ledfoot throws a lazy right hand but Scotch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ledfoot moves away from the strike by Scotch.
Ledfoot slips under a jab.
Leopold Scotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Scotch misses its intended target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scotch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ledfoot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Scotch as he jumps to the side.
Scotch thuds his right hand into Ledfoot's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Ledfoot throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ledfoot throws a good cross that connects.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ledfoot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Ledfoot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ledfoot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ledfoot throws a looping overhand right but Scotch ducks down to avoid it.

Scotch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ledfoot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Scotch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scotch lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Scotch is fighting to break Ledfoot's control of his arms but Ledfoot is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Scotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ledfoot swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Scotch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Scotch throws a strike but Ledfoot rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Scotch pulls Ledfoot in close to his closed guard and prevents Ledfoot from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scotch looking for a sweep. Not yet Scotch, not yet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A combination from Ledfoot does no damage.
Scotch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scotch wants it to stay on the feet.

so Scotch counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Scotch is looking to advance position but Ledfoot has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Scotch wants to control but Ledfoot is having none of it.

Ledfoot misses with a takedown attempt

and Scotch counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Scotch is nestled in close to Ledfoot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ledfoot is looking to improve his position.
Scotch is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Ledfoot has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scotch is working away from the top position though.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ledfoot holds on and takes a little breather.
Scotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ledfoot swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Scotch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ledfoot's guard.

Ledfoot uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scotch.

Scotch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ledfoot's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Leopold Scotch.
Well Scotch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
