Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivgeny Chumakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daryl Escarpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chumakov comes to the cage accompanied by Little Wing - SRV. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chumakov lands a jab to Escarpe's midsection.

Chumakov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chumakov wants to control from the top but Escarpe keeps moving.

Chumakov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Escarpe can't fight it off and eventually Chumakov manages to take the fight to the floor. Escarpe looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Chumakov throws and elbow that misses. Escarpe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chumakov's guard. Nice move by Escarpe!

Chumakov pushes Escarpe off and scrambles back to his feet.

Escarpe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Chumakov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Chumakov is nestled in close to Escarpe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Chumakov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Chumakov uses his free foot to push down on Escarpe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Escarpe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Chumakov is landing with some decent strikes but Escarpe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Escarpe is in a horrible position here. Chumakov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Escarpe is bucking up trying to escape but Chumakov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chumakov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chumakov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Chumakov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Escarpe can do to turn this around?

Chumakov is working to tighten is grip on Escarpe's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Escarpe has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Chumakov is really squeezing tight and eventually Escarpe passes out! Chumakov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
