Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royce Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Royce Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zero drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
Zero misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gracie.
Gracie managing to block the knees to the body from Zero.
Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Zero pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Zero comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.
Gracie gets through Zero's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Zero lands an elbow inside that Gracie shrugs off.

That has opened up Royce Gracie's cut even more.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zero just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gracie's brow.

The cut above Royce Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Zero is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gracie is defending well for now.

Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Zero pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sub Zero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Gracie.

Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zero sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Zero lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts.

Royce Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Royce Gracie's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
