Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akira Ryusendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryusendo comes to the cage accompanied by Tarantanantan. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Ryusendo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Do!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do has a takedown stuffed.
Do tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ryusendo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick misses from Ryusendo.
Ryusendo keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Do.
Do avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Do, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ryusendo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Do tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ryusendo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Do closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ryusendo to the mat! Ryusendo manages to get full guard.

Ryusendo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Do gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Do wants to control from the top but Ryusendo keeps moving.
Do pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ryusendo is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryusendo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ryusendo controls Do momentarily but Do frees himself.
Do tries to free his leg and advance position but Ryusendo is retaining full guard.

Ryusendo working for a triangle but Do defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Do sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Ryusendo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Do uses it to pass to side control.
Do trying to control the action but Ryusendo is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Ryusendo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Do has hold of Ryusendo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ryusendo seems comfortable defending it but Do has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ryusendo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ryusendo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Do couldn't care less - he's delighted!
