Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damien Snerve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quintin Quad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damien Snerve!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Quintin Quad!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snerve misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Snerve looks for a takedown but Quad sprawls well.
Quad keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damien Snerve. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snerve is trying hard to land a takedown here. Quad sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Quad not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Quad looking for a guillotine here but Snerve defends easily.
Snerve is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Quad wants to sweep here but Snerve controlling him for the moment.
Snerve seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Quad is looking for a triangle here but Snerve uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Snerve thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Quad is looking for a sweep.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Quad's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Quad is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damien Snerve dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Snerve uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quad.

Snerve gets the takedown into side control.
Quad sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Quad wants to get back to full guard but Snerve has mounted him!
Snerve looking to control and managing it successfully.
Quad tries to reverse the position but Snerve maintains control.

Snerve controlling the pace for now.
Quad regains half guard.
Quad wants to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Snerve is trying to control the action in half guard but Quad is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Quad is looking to control Snerve's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Quad avoid being mounted?
Quad is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Snerve is staying active.
Snerve is controlling the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Damien Snerve.
Snerve closes the distance and clinches up with Quad, looking for a takedown. Snerve pushes Quad against the cage but Quad circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Snerve fails to land the takedown.

Quad fails to land with a series of punches.
Snerve takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Snerve avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Quad misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Damien Snerve will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Quad wants to stand back up but Snerve manages to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quad is looking to regain half guard here but Snerve keeps moving and retains side control.
Snerve fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Quad gets back to half guard.

Snerve stopping the sweep attempt from Quad.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Quad controls Snerve momentarily but Snerve frees himself.
Quad working a defensive guard but Snerve passes into half guard.
Snerve wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quad keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Snerve has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Snerve controlling the pace for now.
Damien Snerve is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
Damien Snerve showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snerve, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
