The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hicks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Killian's guard.

Hicks connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Killian's hands.

Hicks gets tackled into the cage by Killian. Killian maintains the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Killian is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hicks rather than just go for the knockout.
Hicks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Killian tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hicks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hicks fakes the leg kick and cracks Killian in the body.

Killian takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Hicks lands with an uppercut that bounces Killian off the cage and back into rage.
Killian with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hicks to score with a decent uppercut.
Hicks throws a leg kick but Killian sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Hicks throws a sloppy head kick and Killian moves out of range easily.
Killian slips a straight right by Hicks.
Killian is breathing heavily.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hicks! Killian is out on his feet! Hicks rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Killian is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Killian is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
