Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikal Helio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson has chosen Where the hood at ? as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Helio counters with a straight right hand.

so Helio counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Anderson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Helio got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Helio has managed to get both his arms back between Anderson's legs - danger averted.
Helio stands and throws Anderson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Helio is nestled in close to Anderson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
