Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Chestnut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saiquin Raven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dustin Chestnut!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Saiquin Raven!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chestnut ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raven moves away.
Chestnut shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Raven but Raven pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Chestnut bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raven is looking to regain half guard here but Chestnut keeps moving and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I looks like Raven might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Dustin Chestnut will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
