The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tyler.
Tyler lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Takeshi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Takeshi.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tyler looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

It looks like Kazuya Takeshi has been cut.
Tyler throws a leg kick which misses Takeshi's front leg but catches the back leg as Takeshi tries to avoid it.
Tyler finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Tyler wants to land a leg kick but Takeshi is out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tyler.
A head kick misses from Tyler.
Tyler connects with an inside leg kick.

Tyler lands a head kick that stumbles Takeshi and the fighters go to the mat.

Tyler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tyler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
