The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardonia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sherstikov is fending him off so far but Ardonia persists. Nope, Sherstikov circles away and we're back to standing.
Sherstikov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Ardonia shoots in and bounces Sherstikov off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Ardonia tries to free his leg and advance position but Sherstikov is retaining full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sherstikov has a closed guard, preventing Ardonia from standing up.
Ardonia is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sherstikov wants to stand and escape but Ardonia is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ardonia forces Sherstikov back against the ropes and clinches.
Ardonia misses with a knee strike.

Ardonia has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sherstikov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Ardonia just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Ardonia will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ardonia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ardonia controlling the position well here. Sherstikov rolled but Ardonia kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mirko Raymore Ardonia.
Ardonia lands with a big left! Sherstikov is wobbled badly! Ardonia comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Sherstikov to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
