Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, JT Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Corey Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanchez misses with a head kick.
Sanchez is looking to clinch.
Carter throws a sloppy head kick
and Sanchez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carter throws a front kick aimed at Sanchez's knee but Sanchez avoids it well.
Sanchez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Carter closes the distance and pushes Sanchez back into the cage.

Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sanchez feints and as Carter raises his hands in defense, Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Carter is adopting a defensive guard.
Carter wants to sweep but no luck.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Carter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Carter pulls Sanchez in close to prevent any damage.
Sanchez thows a big elbow that misses.
Carter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Carter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sanchez.
Carter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanchez on the ground.
Carter pulls Sanchez in close to prevent any damage.
Carter is looking to stand up but Sanchez isn't so interested in that idea.
Sanchez being controlled here momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of JT Carter.
Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Carter throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez.

Carter sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Sanchez to the ground! Carter dives into full mount looking to finish!

Sanchez is rocked!

It looks like Corey Sanchez has been cut.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Carter! Sanchez is hurt baaadly! Carter is firing away with more strikes - Sanchez is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
