The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamaka is looking to land body kicks.
Hamaka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Riley.

Riley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hamaka sprawls well initially but Riley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Riley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hamaka's guard.
