Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ty Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew WK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hate Me Now. WK has chosen I Want Your Face- Andrew WK as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

WK shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Law napping and manages to drive through into side control!

WK swings around for an armbar but Law sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into WK's guard.
Law throwing strikes from guard but WK blocks nicely.

WK is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Law is aware though and is defending well.
Law really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Law throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as WK works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

WK is looking for a triangle but Law pushes his legs off easily.
WK not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Law trying to control but WK is working from the bottom.
WK wants to sweep here but Law controlling him for the moment.

Law postures up and lands a big shot to WK's brow.
Law is in close to WK's body, working some short punches and elbows.

WK is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
WK looking to control but Law passes into half guard.

WK moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

WK working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Law doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Law manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
WK looks gassed!

Law is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because WK is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

WK is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Law defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Law thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

WK is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Law defends well.
WK wants to sweep but no luck.
Law postures up in WK's guard and throws a big left but WK blocks it.
Law passes WK's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Law is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Law prevents WK from improving his position.
Law trying to control the action but WK is working from the bottom.

WK missing with punches from the bottom.
WK trying to control from the bottom.
Law is trying to control. WK wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Law will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
WK trying to control here.
Law throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
WK is trying to get back to full guard.

WK looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Law wants to work for an arm triangle but WK is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Still in half guard, Law seems content to control.
Law is thwarting WK's attempts to control the position.
Law throwing shots but WK is blocking nicely.
Law trying to control the action but WK is working from the bottom.

Law is working for a submission of some sort.

WK looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Law prevents WK from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ty Law will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

WK gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
WK lands a decent shot there.

Law is posturing up here but WK has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Law tries to roll out but it's too tight and Law has to tap! Slick submission there by WK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Andrew WK!
