Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick van Greeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van Greeven comes into the arena with Tom Waits - Telephone call from Istanbul blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Gonzalez got a little sloppy there for a moment and van Greeven has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gonzalez has managed to get both his arms back between van Greeven's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
van Greeven will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gonzalez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control van Greeven kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Raul Gonzalez.
van Greeven just misses with a punch to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dick van Greeven will probably get the nod.
That's time! van Greeven's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
van Greeven stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gonzalez swings for the body but van Greeven moves out of range.
van Greeven closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gonzalez is fighting off a takedown attempt but van Greeven is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gonzalez to the mat. Gonzalez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

van Greeven uses his free foot to push down on Gonzalez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gonzalez.

van Greeven lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
