The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Couture manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Couture looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Couture keeps the fight on the outside.
Starks steps into range and cracks Couture with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Couture flops backwards and Starks dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Randy Couture has been cut.
Starks postures up.
Starks wants to stand but Couture is controlling his posture from full guard.
Starks stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Couture shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Starks pinned against the cage. Starks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Starks tries to close the distance and clinch but Couture swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Couture bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Starks wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Starks is not content to let Couture control the position.
Starks is trying to buck Couture off.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starks is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Couture is looking to take a break and control but Starks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Couture wants to lay and pray for a moment but Starks keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Couture looking to control but instead Starks has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Starks is trying to stand back up but Couture is controlling him
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Starks gets a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Starks.
Starks lands a left hand that snaps the head of Couture backwards.
Starks softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Starks dips a shoulder and cracks Couture with a mighty uppercut! Couture falls back against the cage and Starks unloads with a barrage of strikes! Couture is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Starks screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Starks!
