The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Sangria.

Tyrone Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sangria changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones pushes Sangria away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sangria gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sangria wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.

Sangria might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Sangria counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now.

Jones has his foot on Sangria's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sangria works his way back into a safe position though.
Rojo Sangria is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyrone Jones.
I think Sangria has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
