Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mats Jorgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauri Pekkarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pekkarinen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gay Bar. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mauri Pekkarinen enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jorgensen.
Jorgensen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pekkarinen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jorgensen to the mat! Jorgensen manages to get full guard.
Pekkarinen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pekkarinen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jorgensen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pekkarinen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jorgensen is now in Pekkarinen's guard. A big mistake from Pekkarinen there, giving up the dominant position!

Pekkarinen has his foot on Jorgensen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jorgensen works his way back into a safe position though.
