Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenjiro Chiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kyle connelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from connelly is defended easily by Chiba.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from connelly.
Chiba lands a head kick. connelly smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like kyle connelly has been cut.
Chiba leaves connelly with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chiba fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and connelly has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! connelly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chiba - the referee stops the clock and connelly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chiba. connelly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

connelly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
