Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between dad maire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chance Silver is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
maire wants to clinch up but Silver keeps it at a distance.
maire fails to land the takedown.
maire tries for a takedown but Silver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silver defends well against a solid takedown attempt from maire.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for dad maire. That's going to take a lot out of him.
maire shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Silver forces maire back against the cage and clinches.

maire jumps into guard, dragging Silver to the mat.

maire wriggles free and stands up.

Silver feints and as maire raises his hands in defense, Silver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silver won't allow maire to get back to his feet.
maire trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
maire is breathing heavily.

maire can't keep his opponent in guard - Silver advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Silver seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Silver is trying to control. maire wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Silver with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Silver frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
maire really wants to buck Silver off and get back to his feet.
maire has given up his back here. Will Silver look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Silver working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but maire is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Silver has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! maire taps out!
