Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randle McMurphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright throws a jab but it's blocked by McMurphy.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McMurphy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wright has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wright and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Wright comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wright takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

McMurphy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wright.

Wright fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McMurphy manages to avoid it.

McMurphy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wright circles away quickly and effectively.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McMurphy is breathing heavily.

McMurphy seems to be working for a kimura but Wright defends the submission attempt.

Tony Wright showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McMurphy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McMurphy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wright has picked McMurphy up and slammed him! McMurphy can't keep hold of the triangle and Wright manages to pass to side control!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Randle McMurphy.
I think Wright has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
