The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Marley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Emelianenko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fedor Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marley moves in looking to clinch but Emelianenko pushes him off.

Emelianenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Marley tries to sprawl out of it but Emelianenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Emelianenko is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Emelianenko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
