With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Marley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Emelianenko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fedor Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko takes a swing at Marley's ribcage but misses.
Emelianenko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Marley moves in looking to clinch but Emelianenko pushes him off.
Marley slips under a jab.
Emelianenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Marley tries to sprawl out of it but Emelianenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Emelianenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marley moves away.
Emelianenko lands with a good body shot.

Emelianenko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Emelianenko wants to control but Marley is keeping him busy.
Emelianenko lands a decent elbow from side control.

Marley parries the strikes from Emelianenko easily there. Emelianenko is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Marley to escape.
Marley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marley tries to get out of the position.
Emelianenko slows the pace down.
Marley is looking to reverse the position.

Emelianenko is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Marley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Emelianenko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Marley takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Emelianenko misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Emelianenko is looking to take a break and control but Marley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Marley is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Emelianenko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Emelianenko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Marley down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emelianenko wants to control but Marley is keeping him busy.
Emelianenko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Marley to see if he's OK.

Emelianenko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Emelianenko has an Americana. Marley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Emelianenko is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Emelianenko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
