Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ahmed Ahne!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahne throws a leg kick which misses Parsley's front leg but catches the back leg as Parsley tries to avoid it.
Parsley looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Ahne gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ahne is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ahne has control of Parsley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Parsley regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Parsley misses with a takedown attempt
and Ahne counters with a nice body shot.

Ahne shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ahne showed some decent athleticism there.
Ahne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

and Ahne counters with a three punch combo that has Parsley backing up. Parsley nods at Ahne to acknowledge the strikes.

Ahne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ahne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ahne throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Parsley has his hands clasped together but Ahne breaks the hold and Parsley is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Ahne!
