Tremaine comes into the arena with Lose Yourself blaring out of the sound system. Benn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Geto Boys - Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta. DJ Benn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Benn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Benn wants to sweep here but Tremaine controlling him for the moment.
Tremaine advances position into side control!

Tremaine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Benn tries to improve position but can't.
Tremaine tries to advance to mount but can't.

Tremaine is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Benn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tremaine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Benn keeps working.
Tremaine working away.
Tremaine is looking to take a break and control but Benn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Benn gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tremaine is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Benn has managed to free his arm - good work.
Benn wants to get back to full guard.

Benn is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tremaine pulls his head out easily.
Benn tries to roll over but Tremaine keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tremaine shoots in but Benn avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tremaine fails with a takedown attempt.
Tremaine is breathing heavily.
Tremaine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Benn connects with the punch.
Benn closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Benn lands a nice shot to the body.
Benn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Benn works over Tremaine's head and body with a nice combination.
Tremaine closes the distance and clinches up with Benn, looking for a takedown. Tremaine pushes Benn against the cage but Benn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tremaine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Tremaine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Benn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tremaine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tremaine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tremaine has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Tremaine is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Benn can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Benn is in all sorts of trouble here.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Benn is desperately trying to improve his position but Tremaine has a good base and remains in mount.
Tremaine trying to control but Benn is having none of it.

Tremaine is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Benn is surviving well by controlling Tremaine's body position as best he can.
Benn is squirming around, avoiding Tremaine's attempts to control the action.

Tremaine looking for a guillotine from mount but Benn is having none of it.

Tremaine with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Tremaine is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Tremaine!
