Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ressu Redford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Redford might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Älä lyö naamaan. The key to victory for Ressu Redford has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ressu Redford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vitor Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Redford moves into the clinch.
Redford lands with a left to the head.

Redford drags the fight down to the ground.
Redford wants to stand but Belfort is controlling the position.
Belfort passes into half guard.
Redford tries to roll over but Belfort keeps him under control.
Belfort tries to pass the half guard into mount. Redford knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Redford pushes Belfort off looking to stand but Belfort dives back in and keeps control.
Belfort is thwarting Redford's attempts to control the position.

Belfort is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Redford is defending against the submission attempts here by Belfort.
Redford tries to kick Belfort off but Belfort keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Belfort tries to pass the half guard into mount. Redford knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Redford is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belfort's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belfort's back!

Redford is controlling the position but Belfort somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Belfort has one foot on Redford's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Belfort shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Redford manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belfort is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Redford is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Redford has escaped and now he's on top!

Redford decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Belfort, up you get!
Redford scores with a one two! Belfort had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Redford for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Redford misses with a body shot.
Belfort tries to score a power double leg takedown but Redford sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belfort somewhat.
Redford keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ressu Redford is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Redford throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Belfort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Redford pinned against the cage. Redford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Redford throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Belfort.
A decent looking cross lands there for Redford.
Belfort closes the distance and clinches up with Redford, looking for a takedown. Belfort pushes Redford against the cage but Redford circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Redford rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Belfort moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Redford stalks Belfort and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Belfort's face. Belfort staggers backwards, shaken.

Redford darts in and clinches Belfort up against the cage.

Redford has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Belfort clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Belfort trying to get back to his feet but Redford is in full control for now.
Belfort is trapped and Redford is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Can Belfort hold on?! Redford is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Redford punches the canvas rather than the man.

Belfort is in a bad position with Redford working for a choke. Belfort manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Belfort is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Belfort has gone for a leg lock! Redford slips out almost immediately though and dives into Belfort's guard.

Redford tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belfort wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Redford throws a series of punches but Belfort avoids them all with ease.

Redford tries to score a body lock takedown but Belfort shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Redford has hold of one of Belfort's legs. Belfort is fighting the takedown attempt but Redford gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Belfort is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Belfort is pushing down on Redford's leg trying to pass to half guard. Redford is fighting to maintain full guard but Belfort has managed to sneak the leg through.

Belfort is trying for a kimura here. Redford looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Belfort wins by kimura!
