Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tad Ghostal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geronimo Malkind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghostal comes into the arena with Good King Wenceslas blaring out of the sound system. Malkind has chosen Extreme Ways as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Geronimo Malkind enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malkind ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ghostal moves away.
Ghostal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Malkind moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ghostal misses with a leg kick.
A shot to the liver by Ghostal. Beautiful body shot.
Malkind takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A jab from Ghostal misses.
Malkind throws a combination that misses
and Ghostal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Malkind closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Malkind takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ghostal jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ghostal stalks Malkind and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Malkind's face. Malkind staggers backwards, shaken.

Malkind closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Malkind lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Malkind wants to free his trapped foot but Ghostal is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ghostal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ghostal is looking for a sweep. Malkind is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Malkind is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ghostal is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ghostal has escaped and now he's on top!

Malkind is nestled in close to Ghostal, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ghostal is in trouble now - Malkind has advanced to mount!

Ghostal is bucking up trying to escape but Malkind cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Malkind wants to finish this one by submission but Ghostal is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Malkind.

Malkind walks into a straight right hand from Ghostal.
Malkind shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A lazy left from Ghostal finds it's target.
Ghostal is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Malkind throws a hook to the side of Ghostal's head but Ghostal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Malkind will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ghostal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Malkind has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Malkind misses with an uppercut. Ghostal saw that one coming.

and Ghostal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Malkind is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ghostal.
