Pillavino has chosen Tere Bina as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pillavino throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pillavino misses with a straight left.
Ryan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ryan scores with a leg kick.
Pillavino walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ryan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pillavino loads up on a big right hand but Ryan slips the punch.
Pillavino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ryan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pillavino somewhat.
Pillavino connects with a crisp jab.
Nice shot lands for Ryan.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ryan.
Pillavino misses with a wild combination.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ryan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pillavino's head.
Ryan throws a head kick but Pillavino moves out of range.

Pillavino shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ryan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pillavino ducks right into an uppercut from Ryan.
Ryan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Ryan fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Pillavino square on the jaw! Damn, Pillavino is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
