Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Training Partner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Imma Tester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Training Partner had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Partner blocks the low kick.
Tester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Partner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tester.
Tester throws a right and a left that Partner avoids nicely.
Partner blocks a head kick by Tester.

Partner drives through with a takedown into guard.
Partner throwing strikes but missing.
Tester avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Partner thows a big elbow that misses.
Tester wants to stand and escape but Partner is having none of it.
Partner connects with a couple of short punches.
Partner scoring with some ground and pound.
Partner stops Tester from standing up.
Partner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Partner lands a couple of elbows.
Partner stops Tester from standing up.
Tester has momentary wrist control but Partner slips an elbow through the middle.

Tester is rocked!
Tester is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tester is still in real trouble! Can Partner finish him?

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Partner content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Partner gets to his feet and stands over Tester, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tester felt that one! Partner unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tester from any more punishment!
