Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zed Zelonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbie Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zed Zelonka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Herbie Robson!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Robson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Left hook, right uppercut from Zelonka.
Robson misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab lands there for Zelonka.
Zelonka lands a body shot.
Robson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Zelonka counters with a straight right hand.
Robson takes a jab right on the kisser.
A head kick misses from Zelonka.
Zelonka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robson as he jumps to the side.
Zelonka throws a nice head kick!
Robson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zelonka.

Zelonka closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Zelonka lands in his opponent's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robson has his foot on Zelonka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zelonka works his way back into a safe position though.

Zelonka wants to control from the top but Robson keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robson is trying to control the position but Zelonka postures up.
Zelonka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Robson's guard.

Zelonka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Robson is just riding it out for now. Zelonka eventually gives up the hold.
Zelonka not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Zelonka is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Robson wants to improve his position but Zelonka is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zelonka scores with a couple of nice shots.

Robson gets back to full guard.

Robson pushes a forearm under Zelonka's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zelonka is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
