Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patty Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimo Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patterson comes to the cage accompanied by The Faint - Hospital. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kimo Lima!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lima scores a takedown into full mount!

Lima goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Patterson is on top in guard.
Lima should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Lima has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Patterson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Patterson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Patterson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Patterson trying to control but Lima is working from the bottom.
Lima wants to sweep here but Patterson controlling him for the moment.
Patterson wants to control from the top but Lima keeps moving.
Lima can't keep his opponent in guard - Patterson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Patterson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lima is trying desperately to improve position.
Patterson unloads with some shots from mount but Lima bucks and avoids them well.
Lima really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Patterson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Patterson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Patterson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Patterson blocks Lima's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Patterson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Patterson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lima manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Patterson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lima struggling a bit here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lima is looking for a sweep.
Patterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lima looks gassed!
Lima is not content to let Patterson control the position.
Patterson works to advance to full mount. Lima defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Patterson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lima can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Patterson wants to control the pace but Lima is squirming around nicely.
Patterson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Lima is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lima is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Patterson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
