Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Travis Westfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maek Houzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westfield comes to the cage accompanied by Woo Boost. Maek Houzo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westfield throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Houzo's waist but Houzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Westfield off to one side.
Westfield shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Houzo sprawls well. Houzo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Westfield gets slowly back to his feet.

Houzo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Houzo has Westfield pulled in close to control his posture.
Houzo wants to sweep but no luck.
Westfield lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Houzo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Houzo thows a huge punch but Westfield dodges it nicely.

Westfield wants to improve his position but Houzo is controlling well.

Houzo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Westfield doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Houzo.
Westfield is looking for a sweep. Houzo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Houzo is looking to take a break and control but Westfield is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Westfield on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Westfield is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Houzo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Houzo's back!

Houzo rolls, trying to escape but Westfield keeps control of the position.
Westfield misses with a punch to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Houzo breaks Westfield's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Houzo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Westfield has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Houzo has managed to get both his arms back between Westfield's legs - danger averted.
Houzo throws a big right hand that misses.
Houzo connects with a couple of short punches.

Westfield had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Houzo defends it easily.
Houzo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Westfield's guard.

Westfield looking for a kimura from the bottom but Houzo passes into side control!
Houzo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Westfield keeps working.
Westfield tries to buck Houzo off but Houzo is having none of it.
Houzo looks up at the clock and then as Westfield takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Houzo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Westfield takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Houzo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Westfield, who protects the arm well.
Westfield is looking to regain half guard here but Houzo keeps moving and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maek Houzo dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Westfield fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Houzo avoids it really well and circles away.
Westfield shoots in but no luck this time.

Houzo moves into the clinch successfully.
Houzo prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Westfield. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Westfield is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Houzo pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Westfield takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Houzo cracks Westfield with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Westfield is rocked!
Houzo lands a big elbow - Westfield is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Westfield is forced to tap out!
