Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Manuel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Manuel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smyth as he avoids it easily.
Smyth throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Manuel on the side of the head.
Manuel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smyth circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josef Manuel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Manuel closes the distance and clinches up with Smyth, looking for a takedown. Manuel pushes Smyth against the cage but Smyth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Manuel shoots in for a double leg but Smyth sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smyth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smyth throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Manuel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smyth is looking to slow Manuel down with leg kicks.
Smyth dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Manuel is breathing heavily.
Smyth keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice straight punches there by Smyth. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smyth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smyth swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Manuel.
Smyth cracks Manuel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Manuel shoots in but no luck this time.
Smyth scores with a hook to the body. Manuel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Smyth throws a combination. Manuel tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Smyth lands a nice hook to Manuel's body. Manuel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Manuel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Smyth lets loose with a powerful body kick. Manuel will feel that in the morning.
Smyth lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Smyth lands an overhand right.
Manuel takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Manuel is rocked!

Manuel is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Smyth doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Manuel crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Manuel's bad books for that mishap!
