Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Showler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alphonse Lenotre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Showler comes to the cage accompanied by City Lights. Lenotre has chosen Masters of Hardcore 2010 Intro - The voice of Mayhem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Kevin Showler has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Showler.

Lenotre shoots in and drives through. Showler sprawls well.

Lenotre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Showler throws out the jab.
Showler throws a series of punches but Lenotre moves out of range.
Lenotre shoots in for a double leg but Showler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kevin Showler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alphonse Lenotre.
Lenotre shoots for a double leg takedown but Showler sprawls well. He's pushed Lenotre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lenotre shoots in for a takedown but Showler shows good takedown defense.

Showler instigates a clinch.

No joy there for Showler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Showler lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Lenotre is looking to close the distance but Showler sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lenotre crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lenotre is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
