Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joppe Pilgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Yam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pilgren might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to stolt o stark. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Donnie Yam was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilgren is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Yam's half guard.
Pilgren works his way into side control.
Pilgren tries for a kimura but Yam is defending well.
Pilgren decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pilgren turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Pilgren looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Yam is avoiding damage well.
Pilgren throws a strike aimed at the side of Yam's head but Yam avoids it well.
Pilgren working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pilgren has hold of Yam's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yam tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pilgren cranks the arm and Yam screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yam, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Joppe Pilgren!
