The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Nguyen with that takedown attempt.
Nguyen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nguyen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Nguyen persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva stuffs the takedown.

Silva has Nguyen up against the ropes in a clinch.
Nguyen tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Nguyen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silva gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nguyen was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
