Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Kombat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DrZawi Hawass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kombat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immortal Corrupter. DrZawi Hawass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DrZawi Hawass!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kombat shoots in but Hawass avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kombat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hawass looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hawass lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kombat circles away quickly and effectively.

and Kombat counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kombat.
Hawass will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Juan Kombat.
Kombat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hawass's waist but Hawass gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kombat off to one side.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kombat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hawass lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Kombat - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Hawass!
