Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zane Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes into the arena with Let's get it over with. blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Frazier's choice of entrance music: MOOOORTALLLLKOMMMBATTTT111111!!!!!. Zane Frazier will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zane Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott misses with a straight right.
Frazier blocks a low kick nicely.
Frazier is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scott.
Frazier's corner calls for a 1-2. Frazier obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Scott.
A looping hook to the body misses from Frazier. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet.
A jab from Scott misses.
Scott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frazier avoids it really well and circles away.
Scott feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Frazier's calf.

Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Scott throwing shots but Frazier is blocking nicely.

Scott is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott is pressing down on Frazier's thigh, looking to free his foot. Frazier is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Frazier!
Scott sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Scott can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frazier is looking to escape.

Scott is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Frazier has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frazier avoids a series of strikes thrown by Scott.
Scott throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Scott wants to control the pace but Frazier is squirming around nicely.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Frazier can do anything to dispel that myth.
Scott is really struggling to control Frazier but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Scott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Frazier is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Scott looking to secure an arm triangle but Frazier defends it well.
Scott throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Frazier because Scott loaded up on that one.
Scott can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Frazier is looking to escape.

Scott has control of Frazier's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Frazier regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Scott looking to ground and pound but Frazier is blocking nicely.

Scott looking to isolate an arm here. Frazier doesn't see it coming and as Scott extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Scott!
