Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kahlua Zordick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yosuke Omi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yosuke Omi!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zordick misses with a head kick.
Zordick is looking to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Omi.
Omi moves into range and clinches up with Zordick.
Omi manages to break the clinch.
Omi blocks a head kick by Zordick.
A clash of legs there as Omi blocks the low kick.

and Omi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Zordick is trying to push Omi away but Omi has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Omi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zordick just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Kahlua Zordick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yosuke Omi.

Omi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Omi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zordick's waist but Zordick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Omi off to one side.
Omi has a takedown stuffed.
The fight stays on the outside here - Omi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zordick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Omi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zordick defends it nicely.
Kahlua Zordick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Zordick slaps away a takedown attempt from Omi, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Omi counters with a body kick that stops Zordick in his tracks momentarily.
Zordick wants to clinch up but Omi keeps it at a distance.
Omi avoids the head kick by Zordick.

Zordick lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Yosuke Omi has been cut.

and Omi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Omi.

Horrible takedown by Omi or perhaps it was just good defense by Zordick which made him look bad.
Zordick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice sprawl there from Zordick as Omi shoots in.

Zordick throws a quick inside leg kick.
Omi shoots for a double leg takedown but Zordick sprawls well. He's pushed Omi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Zordick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zordick moves in looking to clinch but Omi pushes him off.

and Omi counters by moving into the clinch.
Zordick has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Omi uses from the top position.
Zordick has his foot on Omi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Omi works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Omi is sitting in close to Zordick's body. Zordick has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Omi is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Omi is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zordick.
