Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Domenic Amato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amato kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gonna Fly Now. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amato throws a hook to the side of Carwin's head but Carwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Amato throws a head kick but Carwin moves out of range.
Carwin thows a body shot but no joy.
Carwin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Carwin moves out of range of the leg kick from Amato.
Amato throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Amato tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Carwin is able to avoid easily.
Amato lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Amato dodges the punch combination from Carwin.

Amato feints and as Carwin raises his hands in defense, Amato changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Carwin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amato is one step ahead there.
Carwin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Carwin trying to keep a closed guard but Amato is proving a slippery customer.
Carwin has his hands on Amato's head, controlling the position.
Carwin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carwin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amato is one step ahead there.

Casey Carwin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Amato uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carwin.
Amato tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carwin was well out of range. Poor timing from Amato.
Amato throws out a loose jab but Carwin uses good head movement to avoid it.

A nice combination there by Carwin.

Amato dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Carwin. That did some damage!
Carwin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Amato throws a leg kick but Carwin checks it.
Carwin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Amato moves away.
Amato steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carwin.
Amato feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carwin's calf.
Carwin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice defenses there by Carwin.
Carwin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Amato thuds a left hand into Carwin's body.

Amato slips a jab from Carwin.
Amato avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Carwin looks to land a left hand but Amato moved out of range nicely.
Amato lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Amato throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carwin on the side of the head.
Amato uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Carwin has time to react.
Amato drops Carwin with a naaaaasty hook - Carwin is in real trouble here! Amato dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
