Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anupo Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brad Xavier has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier throws a nice looking combination but Anubis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Anupo Anubis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Xavier lands with a hook. Anubis tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Xavier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Xavier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anubis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Xavier has managed to get both his arms back between Anubis's legs - danger averted.

Anubis is nestled in close to Xavier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Xavier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anubis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Anubis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xavier tries to avoid it but Anubis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xavier to the ground. Xavier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Xavier enables Anubis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Xavier manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Xavier is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Anubis rolls with it to try and escape but Xavier cranks on the arm and Anubis is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
