Jennings's entrance music is Ruff Ryders' Anthem. A fine choice. Rocha is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Refuse/Resist by Sepultura. Antonio Rocha has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha tries to clinch there but Jennings circles away.

and Rocha counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Rocha lands a takedown into guard.
Jennings is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jennings working for a triangle but Rocha defends it easily.
Rocha throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jennings works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rocha makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rocha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rocha is in close to Jennings's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rocha distracts Jennings with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rocha forces his way into half guard.

Jennings is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rocha pulls his head out easily.
Jennings is breathing heavily.
Rocha is nestled in close to Jennings, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jennings is defending against the submission attempts here by Rocha.

Rocha working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rocha connects with a nice short shot to Jennings's temple.
Rocha is looking to take a break and control but Jennings is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jennings has hold of Rocha's hands but Rocha slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Rocha is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jennings knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rocha on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
