The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artukovic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Artukovic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grimly swivels and escapes.
Grimly moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Artukovic closes the distance and clinches up with Grimly, looking for a takedown. Artukovic pushes Grimly against the cage but Grimly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Artukovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grimly throws a right hand that Artukovic ducks under and follows up with a left that Artukovic also avoids with ease.
Artukovic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks Artukovic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Artukovic prefers to stall for the moment though.
Grimly is trying to buck Artukovic off.
Artukovic is working to tighten is grip on Grimly's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Grimly has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Artukovic is really squeezing tight and eventually Grimly passes out! Artukovic breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
