Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quik comes into the arena with Three 6 Mafia - I Got blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jamal Quik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Art Vandelay!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quik looks to land a combination but Vandelay avoids it well.
Vandelay throws a front kick aimed at Quik's knee but Quik avoids it well.
Quik misses the jab.
Quik throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vandelay.

It looks like Art Vandelay has been cut.
Vandelay looks to land a left hand but Quik moved out of range nicely.
Quik checks a leg kick.
Vandelay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Vandelay digs a good body shot into Quik's ribs.
Vandelay avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quik misses with a head kick.
Vandelay slips a jab and a cross from Quik.
Vandelay lands a head shot.
Quik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vandelay darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Vandelay does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Vandelay keeps the fight on the outside.
Quik pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Vandelay dodges the punch combination from Quik.
Quik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking cross lands there for Vandelay.
Quik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Quik tries to clinch there but Vandelay circles away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vandelay.
Vandelay fakes the leg kick and cracks Quik in the body.

Vandelay decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vandelay missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vandelay lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Quik is rocked!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vandelay lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Quik is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vandelay scores with a big shot! Quik's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Quik! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
