Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dillinger Escape Plan - 43% Burnt. Gracie has chosen we'll be alright - Travie McCoy as his entrance music. Ralph Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gracie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones has his hands clasped together around Gracie's back. He's all about the action.

Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Gracie thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jones to regain full guard.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Jones pushes down on Gracie's leg and manages to get into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Gracie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jones escapes and gets back to his feet.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Carl Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.

Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie.
Jones throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A nice inside leg kick there by Jones. That's going to slow Gracie down.
Crunch! Jones slams his shin into Gracie's torso.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Good exchange - Jones coming out on top.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Jones lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jones turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Gracie takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Carl Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralph Gracie.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Jones clinches up against the cage.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones throws a front kick that sends Gracie stumbling back into the cage.
No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt.
Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Jones drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.

A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carl Jones dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.

Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.

Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gracie.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie jumps guard but Jones stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!

Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Carl Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones catches Gracie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.

Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jones. Gracie shrugs it off though.
Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gracie's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Jones has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gracie jumps guard but Jones stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jones throws a wild body kick that Gracie sees coming a mile off.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Jones in his guard.
Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around?

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gracie's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
