The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Greco somewhat.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Greco wants the takedown. Jones is fighting it off but Greco persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jones's guard against the cage.
Greco loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Greco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Greco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones loads up on a big right hand but Greco slips the punch.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Greco.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Greco manages to avoid it.

Greco closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Greco looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jones lands a hook that stumbles Greco back into the cage. Jones follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Greco to the canvas! Jones pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Greco has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
