Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by I am a true Irishman. Bob is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dragonforce- heroes of our time. William Bob has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bob lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bob.
Bob fails to land with a series of punches.
McGuire misses with a takedown attempt - Bob sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McGuire slips a straight right by Bob.
Bob on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McGuire. McGuire obviously looking to wear him down.
McGuire misses with a looping left.
McGuire fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bob on the side of the head.
Bob gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bob throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGuire lands a jab-cross combination.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but McGuire shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bob tries to bum rush McGuire with a series of wild strikes but McGuire uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McGuire throws a jab but it's blocked by Bob.
McGuire scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bob doesn't seem bothered though.

McGuire fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bob walks into a stiff left hand from McGuire.
Bob's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGuire connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bob scrambles back to his feet.
McGuire lands with an uppercut that bounces Bob off the cage and back into rage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McGuire looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

McGuire has control of Bob's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bob regains control of the situation pretty easily.
