Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steffen Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Soshnyanin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steffen Gunderson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Viktor Soshnyanin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steffen Gunderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viktor Soshnyanin!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soshnyanin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gunderson throws an overhand right that lands on Soshnyanin's shoulder, as Soshnyanin tries to avoid the shot.
Soshnyanin stuns Gunderson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Soshnyanin lands with an overhand left.
Soshnyanin looks to land a left hand but Gunderson moved out of range nicely.
Soshnyanin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The crowd cheers as Gunderson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Soshnyanin doesn't seem phased though.
Gunderson throws a hook but Soshnyanin blocks it.
A slow jab from Gunderson misses its intended target.
Gunderson looks to land a right hand but Soshnyanin moved out of range.
Gunderson throws a sloppy body shot
and Soshnyanin counters with a head kick. That will keep Gunderson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Soshnyanin throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Gunderson is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Soshnyanin chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gunderson throws a shot from downtown. Soshnyanin moves away and avoids it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Soshnyanin.
Gunderson moves forwards but Soshnyanin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Soshnyanin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gunderson sprawling to the canvas! Gunderson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Soshnyanin finish him?!
Gunderson is rocked!
It looks like Steffen Gunderson has been cut.
Gunderson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh Gunderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Soshnyanin cracks Gunderson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gunderson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Soshnyanin pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gunderson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Soshnyanin!
