The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence misses with a takedown attempt - Kwon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lawrence moves out of range as Kwon strikes.
Kwon misses the shot to the body.
Kwon closes the distance and pushes Lawrence back into the cage.
Kwon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lawrence rushes Kwon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lawrence goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kwon lands a hook that snaps the head of Lawrence backwards.
Kwon lands with a short shot to the head.
Kwon lands a shoulder strike.
Lawrence tries a knee to the head but Kwon blocks it.
Kwon makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kwon lands a left hand.
Kwon lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lawrence backwards.
Lawrence lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Jin Kwon has been cut.
Lawrence misses with a knee to the head.
A short right from Kwon on the inside.
A hook to the body from Kwon.
Lawrence looks to throw an elbow but misses.
A short left from Kwon.
Lawrence creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
A nice left hand lands by Kwon.
Lawrence tries a knee to the head but Kwon blocks it.
Lawrence is looking to control Kwon's arms but Kwon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lawrence has his back to the cage.

Kwon lands with a light punch inside.
Kwon scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kwon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lawrence backwards.
Kwon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kwon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lawrence tries to clinch but Kwon moves away
and Kwon counters with a nice body shot.
Lawrence looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kwon is fending him off so far but Lawrence persists. Nope, Kwon circles away and we're back to standing.
Kwon works the jab nicely.
Lawrence closes the distance but Kwon moves to the side
and Kwon counters with a right hand to the body.
Kwon stuns Lawrence with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lawrence tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Kwon to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Martyn Lawrence has been cut.
Lawrence tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kwon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kwon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kwon pushes Lawrence up against the cage in a clinch.
Lawrence stalling in the clinch but Kwon improves position.
Lawrence effectively controlling the action here.
A short uppercut from Kwon.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kwon.
Good body shot from Kwon.
Lawrence looks gassed!
A body shot lands from Kwon.
Kwon gets through Lawrence's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kwon makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kwon lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Lawrence is rocked!
Lawrence with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Kwon is working Lawrence over against the cage.
Lawrence looking to throw knees to the head but Kwon is blocking nicely.
Kwon lands a nice shot to the body.

Kwon throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kwon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kwon lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lawrence is still on wobbly legs! Can Kwon finish him?

Kwon lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Lawrence is looking to close the distance but Kwon sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lawrence crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lawrence is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
