The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rogers lands a jab.
speedy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rogers throws out a loose jab but speedy uses good head movement to avoid it.
speedy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rogers, as that shot connected.
Rogers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from speedy.
Rogers takes a swing at speedy's ribcage but misses.

speedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
speedy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rogers to the mat! Rogers manages to get full guard.
speedy has gone for a leg lock! Rogers slips out almost immediately though and dives into speedy's guard.
speedy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

speedy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

speedy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but speedy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
speedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rogers sprawls well. Rogers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. speedy gets slowly back to his feet.
speedy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
